The Province of Cabinda has its capital that takes the same name. Its population is of Bakongo origin. The main economic factor of the province is the oil and the Wood. The climate is equatorial having annual average temperatures of 25ºC.

NATURE

Forest of the Maiombe
With innumerable tones of green in its almost impenetrable bushes, possessing 290 thousand hectares.

In this forest exist trees with 50 meters of height, wood of expressive economic values as: black Wood, Ebony African Sandal, Rare Wood and Iron Wood.

Additionally, in this forest exist also fauna. In it we find animals as Gorillas, Chimpazes, Elephants, beyond some species of birds, some of the which rare and ornamental ones.

Quagmire of Landana

In this quagmire exist multiple types of aquatic birds. It is an authentic " Sanctuary " of pelicans and flamingos.
