This
is the second province in Angola whose capital city has the same name
as the province. Malange has a great number of tourist attractions,
like the Pedras Negras of Pungo - Andongo, Mesa da Rainha Ginga (Queen
Ginga's table), among others. Agriculture is the main economic
activity. The climate is mainly humid, with averages temperatures
between 20 and 24ºC.

fly to Malange.
By road
The distance between
Luanda
and
Malange,
is
450km.
On the way is Dalatando,
passing the Lucala
river,
Quanza's
river
affluent.
To the Calandula waterfall follow the road to Malange and turn left.
During sometime, Calandulas' waterfall was known as
waterfall of the
"Duque
de Bragança".
Back to the main road follow to Malange City.

NATURE
There
is a vast range of tame and wild animals: cattle, sheep and goats,
rabbits and felines, Among the wild animals, there are the giant black
palanca, wild dogs (mabeques), the spotted hyena, the cheetah, gunga,
kissoma, puku, songue, common bambi, paca;a, monkey, elephant, hare,
red palanca, golungo, nunce, buffalo, wild boar, hippopotamus,
crocodile, lion, leopard and pangolin. There are also many birds, of
different species.
